Julie Chibbaro is the author of REDEMPTION (Simon & Schuster, 2004), a novel of love and betrayal set in pre-colonial America. A Children’s Literature Choice and Voice of Youth Advocates recommended reading list pick, REDEMPTION won the 2005 American Book Award. It was nominated as a Book Sense Pick, and was listed as Pennsylvania School Librarian Association’s Top Ten. In 2006, REDEMPTION was nominated for the Illinois High School Book Award (ABE Award).
